A few years back I was blessed with the opportunity to visit Thailand and help a dear friend set up a new company. The trip was filled with rooftop business meetings, being wined n dined and all that jazz in the glitzy hive. Yet, many of my favorite moments are captured here… interacting with the people out n around Sukhumvit 71. Eating the freshest dishes made to order and knockin back shots of ya dong with the people.
To those not familiar with ya dong. It is a herbal booze made from lao khao. It’s served with unripe guava and a salt/sugar/chili mix. You take shots the same way you would with tequila.
This band is going places and the people photographed here will always be in my heart. They showed me Melbourne and a more free way to live… in turn we cranked out a dope music video.

Yo, featured here are Prasat Sadok Kok Thom and some random modern wat from the Aranyaphathet/Sa Keow region of eastern Thailand. The difference in vibes between the new and old was rather stark. The ancient sites really made me want to explore more and to continuosly shout Dr. Jones at my business partner… while the new wats had a freaky and cultish roadside attraction thing going on.
The correfoc, or fire-run, is quite possibly my favorite Catalan festival tradition. Set to the beat of a drum corps, devils and demons make their way through the streets spraying sparks in every direction. The real goal is to get as close as possible and dance under the fire. These shots are from Barcelona’s Clot neighborhood.
Coppenhagen.. where to begin… After heaps of travel and marginal rest I set out on an early morning bike ride to see what I could see and make the most of my >24hr layover. Here’s what I got… Nyhavn at dawn.
The street art scene in Barcelona is diverse and approachable. I often long for the days when I used to skate past popular walls in search of new works to admire. Most of these shots are from Poble Sec, Poblenou and Besos.
Accessible by ferry, Bruny Island is filled with so much natural beauty it’s hard to wrap your mind around it. Walking through the forest there is often the unique and enchanting scent of leatherwood mixed with eucalyptus and the sea breeze. Surfing here is on point as the waves seem to always be breaking. Here one can also enjoy dining on agrilocal oysters, abalone, wallaby, beer, wine, cheese and honey. Bruny’ sick as mate.
The only thing these photos have in common is that they were all taken in Australia. These shots span from the 12 Apostles to the Yellow Water Billabong.
China is absolutely wild. I will return. These are street shots from a quick layover in Xiamen.
Shoutouts to my main g Humza for putting me up and showing me all that LA has to offer. The contrasting experiences in Skid Row is enigmatic. There is so much culture in such a small space you will find yourself focusing on your breathing to avoid an anxiety attack. The neighborhood is comprised of the largest homeless population in the USA as well as a very active artist community. Visit here with a local.
Want to feel like you’ve travelled to a new planet? Take a hit of acid and wander through Joshua Tree. This park is everything to me. I have never not been filled with wonder, even after numerous visits.
I was going through a very transitionary period as an artist when i took these. Trouble in my personal life got me outside and involved in as many photographic distractions as possible. I found myself shooting for a start up app and a shortfilm all at once.
Taken with a Konica MG.. My personal potato camera. All shots in ‘Straya.
On our honeymoon my wife, puppy and I roadtripped the west coast. This section of the trip featured a lot of chilly weather and overcast skies.
Somewhere East of Jesus lies Salvation Mountain.. This community is proof that LSD and the church are both mind altering. I loved the freedom of creation and potential we found in that desert expanse.
from the california coast and doing the most.
